Our neighborhood is full of boys. The standard seems to be 2 sons per family, so my own family fits in perfectly! Most of the boys are bit older than my own but I love watching them together and getting a glimpse of what my own boys might be like in a few short years. We did a brief outdoor photo shoot–Mom wanted something festive for holiday cards–and I got smiles, laughter, wrestling, snowballs, tears and giggles out of them all in a 10 minute time span. Pretty typical of most brother relationships, I’m sure!

Big brother is only 2 years older, but he’s quite a bit taller.

I turned the tables on them and little brother got to be the taller one for a few moments!

Little brother was sweet enough to pose for me.

Big brother was already off gathering an arsenal of snow for an ambush.

And we can’t forget about dear Jax. He’s barely a teenager (in dog years) and had more than enough energy to keep up with his two human brothers.

There’s just something about boys and their dogs!

I love watching you grow in your photography. I’m amazed that you find the time…do you sleep?
You do beautiful work and it looks like a business is coming together. So fun to see. Your blog makes my heart smile.
Amy Shertzer, pet photographer! Seriously, I’ve always loved your shots of your own furry kids and the ones you got here are a stunning as your human subject. Give it some thought…
