One of my favorite parts of my weekend in Butte with Montana Photography Workshops was the chance to walk the streets of Uptown Butte, camera hanging from my neck like a tourist. Rather than photographing people, I was out to get a portrait of the city. You can just feel the history and culture and character in every square inch and I reveled in soaking it all up.
