Bozeman has many personalities. . . college town, outdoor recreation mecca, small-town community, boutique and trendy restaurant-filled downtown. But underneath all that, at it’s heart, it’s a western town. Next to modern, sub-divided neighborhoods are fields of crops and open pastures with horses. There’s even a family of horses living right next to our Target! Pick-up trucks easily out number cars and you never go anywhere in town without seeing cowboy hats.
Even though I don’t consider myself a cowgirl, I can’t help but feel that a little bit of that old west has seeped into who I am. And it is certainly a part of my boys–especially my youngest–who is a true Montanan, born right here in Bozeman!
So when the opportunity to get a few pictures of him in his cowboy hat and boots arose, I took it. . .
