This little cutie is celebrating his 1st birthday today!
And I had the pleasure of spending last Sunday morning at the park with him. Even though Mom and Dad joined us for the photo shoot, it was readily apparent who the star of this family is. . .
He literally has Mom and Dad around the finger. . .
Reading books. . .
Playing “flying”. . .
Oh yeah, he’s got them right where he wants them! 
I think I’ve decided that 12-15 months old is one of my favorite baby ages (of course the fact that I have a 14 month old little guy myself doesn’t have any factor in that decision!
). They are just so full of joy and happiness and energy. Every moment is a new, fabulous adventure. They’ve figured out how to start communicating with the world, but haven’t figured out how to have tantrums and meltdowns like a 3-year-old (of course my own 3-year-old would have nothing to do with why I know anything about that!).
But, mostly, their sheer delight in the world is just so darn infectious!
I guarantee you have a smile on your face right now!
He was still smiling, even when we were “all done.”
Happy Birthday, Little Man! And congrats to Mom and Dad for surviving their first year of parenthood!
