Worldwide Photo Walk {Bozeman Photographer}

This Saturday, July 24th,  photographers across the world will be walking the streets of their towns, cameras in hand, snapping away.    Yes, this happens every day of the year. . . but July 24th is special because we’ll all be out there as part of the 3rd annual Worldwide Photo Walk.  Over 31,000 people have registered to participate in an official Photo Walk near them.  It’s not just for professionals, either.  Anyone with a camera of any kind (yes, even your cell phone camera!) and a love of photography can join in.  And while part of the fun is knowing you’re part of something so much bigger than yourself, the other part of the fun is meeting a small group of people who love doing what you do and who live in your very own town.  And you feel a little less silly walking around your town with your face behind a camera when you have lots of other people doing the exact same thing as you!  Oh, and did I mention that it’s free?  And there are giveaways and prizes to be had?

So, if you love taking pictures, join thousands of other like-minded folks and check out this link to see if there’s a Photo Walk near you.  The fabulous Thomas Lee of Montana Photography Workshops is leading a walk right here in Bozeman–Saturday at 8:15 a.m. starting on the corner of Main St. & Tracy.  Check out their blog to sign up and get more details.  I’ll see you there!
