Last month, an old friend from college contacted me about doing a photo shoot with her line of custom, hand-made bags. She’s a mom to 3 boys, a part-time pilot in the Air National Guard, and a very talented seamstress. When she couldn’t seem to find the perfect bag for her own busy life, she took the sewing machine and created her own. Soon after, Fly Girl Designs was born and now you, too, can get one of her amazing bags!
A model-call went out and I ended up meeting with some fabulous moms in downtown Bozeman for our photo shoot. I’m so excited to share the results and to show off Connie’s fabulous bags! The best part is that you have a chance to get your very own Fly Girl bag for 50% off! I have one voucher for half off a bag of your choice to give away. . . you’ll find out how you could be the lucky recipient at the bottom of this post!
I love how she combines not only multiple fabrics, but she can also incorporate leather.
In addition to the fun styles of bags you saw above, Fly Girl Designs also offers a collection of bags made out of recycled Air Force flight suits. I think this is uber-creative, and something that any Air Force member or spouse would love!
So, here’s your chance to get 50% off your very own custom-designed, hand-made Fly Girl bag . . . check out the Fly Girl Designs website. Take a look at the “Products” page and the “Fabrics” page then leave a comment on this blog post telling me which bag, and in which fabric, you would love to own. It’s that easy! On Friday June 17th at 8:00 a.m. MST, I’ll randomly select one of the commenters to win the 50% off voucher and then you can get your amazing bag at a great discount!
I really, really, really want a flightsuit tote. Those are SOOO cute!!! Beautiful pictures Amy. Totally jealous I wasn’t in the photoshoot!
Leyla in Modern Love! Beautiful bags, and beautiful photos!
I want the Maddy bag with Modern love and brown leather on the outside and bright buds on the inside!! Love these!
Great photography Amy. No surprise they asked you to represent them. You really captured the Bozeman lifestyle.
I love the Maddy Bag, it would fit my camera too. I like the Amy Butler fabric – Lotus – Morning Glory. That would be an awesome bag for my crazy life.
Thanks
Wow!!! Some awesome talent came out of that ‘college’, huh!? I love the Leyla bag, Alexander Henry’s Mocca with chocolate leather — if I don’t get the discount, I’m still probably going to order it!
LOVE THE MADDY BAG with morning glory fabric. These are amazing photographs of an awesome product! LOVE!
Great product photos Amy. Unfortunately I can’t decide what I like. I like the Leah Tote and Mollie Hipster in Wood Fern Nickel, Black Houndstooth, Illusions and the Mocca!
Amy you are a great product photographer! It looks like ads in magazines! If I was haveing another baby I would want one of these. Seriously great captures!!
Love the bags and your images!
Oh so hard to decide I like both maddie and leyla! And way too many prints!
Oh gosh, I was just saying this week “I HATE MY PURSE!” because it just does not suffice. So I’m officially throwing my name in the ring because the MADDY BAG just the way it’s pictured is just my size and so gorgeous. And if I win I promise to advertise to all the mommies at the park:)
Love the pics! I love the new hipster bag in modern love/bright buds. Nothing better than an across the body bag when chasing after little ones!
Great bags! Nice!
I love these bags! I have been looking for something like these for so long! I love both the Mollie and the Maddie equally. With the Joel Dewberry fabric. Amy – you did a great job photographing for these!
Those are REALLY cool!! I love the one that has the fabric & leather combo. So chic.
wow- gorgeous bags! i love the ones with leather and the ones made from flightsuits are genius!!!
Those are darling bags! I love the Maddy bag. I could totally see myself with one of those!
I love the bags! What a lovely job she did making them and what a wonderful job you did staging the shots to show them off to their best! Great combination of the two of you working together!
I’m a bag fanatic! Love love love the Maddy bag in the Mocca fabric and leather. I’d want to talk to her to get her honest opinion about the fabrics, I must admit. I trust designers and their products – they usually know better than I do!
Adorable bags and great photos Amy!
These are adorable! Love the Mollie hipster with Mocca and brown leather!
I love them… the bright colors makes them look so fun. I really love that second picture.
