It’s no secret that I love Montana. I’m a mountain girl at heart and it’s just so beautiful here. While I love photographing people, especially capturing that connection in families, I also love capturing the beauty of the world we live in. I take my camera with me almost every time I leave the house, but honestly I’ve been pretty uninspired the last few months. I do love Montana, but I don’t love spring in Montana. It’s just been grey and rainy and cold and not pleasant to be outside. So I haven’t been spending much time outside.
Until about a week ago.
June is the month where we start seeing a glimpse of the gorgeous Montana summer. Sometimes it’s only an hour-long glimpse, then it’s back to rain and wind and yuckiness for seemingly days on end, but those glimpses are just the bit of hope I need to get through.
And when I got this glimpse last week, it left me breathless!
This is the Bozeman I love. The lush green grasses, the snow-capped peaks, the blue sky, the character in those clouds. . . the double rainbow was just the cherry on top!
Beautiful picture Amy!
