Yesterday was my birthday. And the one thing I really wanted was to have a photo of me with my kids. Looking back over the past few months, I’ve woefully realized that I am not in any of our family pictures. We do have a formal annual photo session, but of the hundreds of images I have documenting our family life the other 364 days of the year, I’m very under-represented.
So my wish (or goal) for this next year is to hand the camera over to my husband a little more often. Starting last night, I got my wish!
I just had the same realization the other day…I was trying to find something worth putting on a Christmas card this year and there is not one photo of me in there, let alone the family together. I’m vowing that this coming year will be very different.
