In my portraits, I tend to prefer bright, true colors.  But, sometimes, it’s fun to play around a bit and I thought this image taken on the beach was a perfect candidate for some fun!

The first image is the true color of the scene.  And then I did a little vintage coppery coloring.  And, finally, I did a little warm hazy vintage finish.  Keeping with my typical indecisiveness, I can’t decide which is my favorite.  Which one gets your vote?

That is so tough, because I love them all so differently. If I had to choose just one, I would have to say that the first is probably my fave. With something that is already so beautiful to begin with, the true colors are the only ones that truly do it justice:)

The last one – it looks like a postcard! So awesome! The middle one would be awesome with surfboards stuck in the sand or an old beach van for a family picture.

I like the sepia-toned one in the middle. Something dreamy and nostalgic about it!

The first looks nice, but it lacks the character of the second. I didn’t really like the color on the third. I think it also depends on what you are trying to do with the pic. Good job!

The third is my favorite. It looks like a dream.
