I had the privilege of meeting Jilleen last week on the beach for some professional head shots. She’s on the Board of Directors of an organization called Stop CMV. Their mission is to prevent and eliminate congenital CMV, the most common viral cause of birth defects and developmental disabilities in the U.S. As of 2009, only 14% of women have ever even heard of it, so they also want to raise awareness.
