Preschool Roundup {Bozeman Preschool Photographer}

I fell short on my promise to share these yesterday, but I’m making it up by sharing the rest of these cuties in one enormous post today.  (You can see the other post  here)  Without further ado, here you go!

I spent the last few days at another local Bozeman preschool, so more adorable little 2 to 5 year old faces will be showing up here soon!

School Days {Bozeman Preschool Photographer}

Fall is one of the busiest times for photographers and 2010 has been no exception!  Between families eager to get images for holiday cards and preschools eager for school photos, I have been very (happily!) busy.  I’ve got another set of preschool images to share over the next few days.  And I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I really love working with the preschool set . . . little personalities are budding and it’s so fun to have one child step in front of the camera eager to show off their best smile and then the next shyly sit down, just waiting for me to draw out that genuine expression.  Some just start talking about anything and everything (which makes me a lot more cautious about what I say to my own 3-year-old!), some succinctly and politely answer my questions, and others stay quiet with just little nods of their head.  I just never know what I’m going to get, but I know it’s going to be fun. . . and that’s the best part!

Gorgeous {Bozeman Portrait Photographer}

After spending Saturday with four lovely families (all with children under the age of 10), I had a completely different experience at Sunday’s photo shoot.  This gorgeous young woman is an aspiring model and contacted me about doing photos to fill her portfolio.  Fabulously made up with beautiful hair and make-up and a fun, flirty dress we hit the streets of downtown Bozeman and she got right to work, giving me her best poses.

Isn’t she stunning?

The hardest part for me was narrowing down which ones to share here on the blog.  I am seriously in love with every single one of her images.  If our afternoon downtown (and the resulting images) are any indication, I think her future as a model will be bright!

Sass, laughs, and love {Bozeman Family Photographer}

I was on quite a roll with my little adoring fans at Saturday’s mini-sessions.  Big hugs came earlier in the day and then when this family arrived, sweet little 3-year-old presented me with a picture she had drawn just for me earlier that afternoon.  It now sits proudly on my desk! :-)  She was a star during the session and loved giving me a healthy dose of (sweet) sass posing for this image:

And then the laughs came when she had a chance to get the entire family in on the fun. . .

The key to little sister’s big smiles did not lie with any of my silly antics and tricks, it was dear Mama who was finally able to unlock them!

Mom and toddler share some special laughs.

So, in our short session we had some adorable sass, some big smiles, and we still had time for a little bit of love. . .

I’ll wrap up this sneak peek now, with just a little more love, this time with the entire family in on the act!

Gorgeous Morning Smiles {Bozeman Family Photographer}

I kicked off my mini-sessions this past Saturday in the most gorgeous way!

Bozeman family poses in Lindley Park for photograph

We had lovely morning light, splashes of fall color, and a beautiful smiling family!  We really started out on the right foot when big sister (who I photographed at preschool a few weeks ago) jumped out of the car, ran to me with a huge smile on her face, and gave me a big hug as she exuberantly said, “Hi Miss Amy!”

The smiles never stopped, and she even rubbed off on her little brother!

Spending some time with this gorgeous family was the perfect way to start my day!
