Preschool is in Session! {Bozeman School Photographer}

I photographed the kids at a local Bozeman preschool a few weeks ago and have too many great images to share for just one post, so I’m kicking off another “Preschool Week” here on the blog.  I think the 3-5 year old set is one of my favorite ages to photograph, especially when you get them one-on-one.  They are so fun to interact with and they laugh at my corny jokes. . . big bonus points in my book!

Prepare yourself, though, you might go into adorableness overload by the end of the week!

Date Night {Bozeman Couples Photographer}

As much as your kids are the center of your world, you have to have “date night” with your spouse on a regular basis to bring you back to where it all started!  In yesterday’s post, I shared the family photos and you could easily see what their sweet son means to them.  But during our session, we also took some time to let mom and dad connect without their scene-stealing little cutie.  It was like a mini-”date night” and as you can see here, they’ve still got it!

So, take a lesson from this happy couple and get out there for a date night without your kids every now and then!

The little teacher {Bozeman Family Photographer}

This family is a mixed bag when it comes to experience in front of a camera lens.  You see, mama is a professional photographer and dear friend of mine.  So she doesn’t spend much time in front of the lens, but behind the camera she’s an expert.  And the handsome little guy, her most-popular subject, is very accustomed to being in front of the camera.  As for dad, well, he’s your typical photographer’s husband. . . will oblige for photos occasionally but usually just wants to get on with things!

As a photographer, it can be tough to put yourself in your client’s shoes.  But Kelly and her family were amazing!

I credit the little guy, who showed his parents just how it’s done!

He definitely knows how to turn on the charm!  And he taught his parents well!

I have a few more of just mom and dad, to share, but we’ll save those for another post tomorrow. . .

Handsome Boys {Bozeman Child Photographer}

These two boys are just about the most handsome I’ve ever photographed.  Okay, I’ll confess that I may be slightly biased, since they are my own children, afterall!  But, even if you’re not related to them I think you can at least say that they are pretty darn cute together. . .

I love the colors of fall and downtown Bozeman is especially beautiful when the giant trees turn golden shades of yellow and red.  I’d been dreaming of getting some shots of my boys together but just didn’t know if it would happen while the colors were so brilliant.  The stars aligned last week, with beautiful colors and cooperative boys.  And I can say that I’m quite happy with the results!

I even got a few of my youngest son with his Daddy.  I just love his expression here. . .

And here. . .

Big brother was just delighted to toss leaves in the air and scream with glee (and land a few on his brother’s head)!

And my most favorite shot of the morning, which is surely going to find a place in a very large print on a wall in my home, is this one:

A bright future {Bozeman Senior Photographer}

I had another high school senior session this past weekend with yet another fabulous young man.  Bozeman sure knows how to raise its sons right!  For starters, he’s an excellent student. . .

And he’s also an athlete, running on the state championship cross-country team and putting in lots of laps on the track competing in the long distance events. . .

And if you think that the hours studying and logging miles keep him busy enough, you better think again!  He’s also an accomplished musician, playing french horn, piano, and singing.

He’s just an all-around friendly, polite, talented, and good-natured guy!

And I can’t resist sharing just a few more!

He surely has made his parents very proud and I had a great time documenting this important time in his life.  His future couldn’t be brighter!
