A second helping of sweetness {Bozeman Newborn Baby Photographer}

I photographed this sweet, new little boy about a week and half ago, but just had to go back for more!

Bozeman newborn baby sweetly held in mama

If you want to know where to get one of those adorable hats for yourself, check out Sweet Pea Hats on etsy!  My friend Beatrice has a fabulous collection of custom-made hats to fit newborns through adults.  I’m a big fan!

In addition to modeling the hats, little guy also slipped into a darling cocoon wrap.  He was not so interested in snugly curling up, so I call this one “string bean”!

With peek-a-boo toes!

Finally, he did drift away to peaceful slumber.  He just wanted what most babies want. . .

Since I spend several days a week with this little guy’s mama–who is a dear friend–I’m sure this isn’t the last time you’ll be seeing him around here!

Baby Fix {Bozeman Baby Photographer}

I was revisiting and cleaning up some files on my computer this week and found something worth sharing.  I don’t know if it’s the newborn session I had a few days ago (a sneak peek is coming soon), the upcoming Babes in Bozeman Baby Expo, or the fact that my own baby is fast approaching the jump from baby to toddler, but I just can’t get babies out of my mind this week!

So, here’s a little cutie pie to get babies on your mind today. . .

If you need a little more for your baby fix today (oh, you know you can’t resist!) check out more from this photo session back here.  Enjoy!

Oh Amy, I LOVE this one. What a fabulous use of the window light to show off her beautiful eyes and scrumptious cheeks!

Babes in Bozeman {Bozeman Baby Photographer}

With 2 young children of my own, I spend quite a bit of time at the local baby hot spots and I’ve noticed in the past year that the little tyke population in Bozeman is booming!  So I was extremely excited when I learned about the upcoming Babes in Bozeman Baby Expo.  The expo is on May 15th at the Hilton Garden Inn and will feature all things baby and toddler in the Gallatin Valley. . . local vendors selling great baby gear, a sampling of the many kid classes and activities in the area, some of the local pediatricians, even a visit from Smokey the Bear.  There has never been anything like this before in Bozeman and with all the little ones I’ve spied around town, it is definitely an event whose time has come!

Amy Shertzer Photography is proud to be a sponsor of this event and even happier to announce that one lucky Expo attendee will be given a complimentary photo session & 11×14 print.  There are several other fabulous giveaways not to be missed, so be sure you mark your calendar for May 15th!

I can’t have a post on a photography blog without a photo. . . here’s one of my favorite “Babes in Bozeman”!

The real deal {Bozeman Senior Photographer}

In my last post, you saw a lovely young woman who was not quite a senior.  Well, I now bring you the real deal. . . full of style, poise, intelligence, and just all-around niceness, I had such a great time photographing this gorgeous young woman.

I tell you, as evidenced by the young women in these last two posts, growing up in Bozeman is great thing!

Not quite. . . {Bozeman Senior Photographer}

. . . a senior yet, but it’s coming fast.  Way too fast for her dear Mama, I’m sure!

She’s nearing the end of her freshman year and really starting to come into her own.

Spending time with this gorgeous girl really brought back memories of my own high school experience.  Currently, my days are spent in a sea of diapers and toys and time-outs with my 3-year-old and infant.  It was fun to go back to the days of after-school sports and geometry and lunch-table gossip that are more years ago than I really care to admit!

My words of wisdom to this bright-eyed beauty:  dream big, have fun, and don’t wish it away too fast!
