Matilda Jane Clothing {Los Angeles Photographer}

I spent some time this morning with an absolutely adorable model to show off a few pieces from Matilda Jane Clothing‘s new line, called Paint by Numbers.  Since we live by the beach, I thought that would be the perfect place to show off how these awesome clothes go with your daughter from school to play, whether that’s at a friend’s house, at the park, the library or even the beach!

My sweet model showed me how the Limelight Peasant Top, the Pointillism Big Ruffles pant and the Nancy in Chocolate headband could twirl, run, giggle, and run some more on the sand.

Visit the entire Paint by Numbers Collection to browse the dozens of absolutely divine pieces.  Did you know they also carry a line for grown-ups?  Go check it out!

10 on 10: Soccer Season {Los Angeles Photographer}

It has begun. . . my oldest son just started his first ever season of soccer.  He’s playing AYSO, which some might know as American Youth Soccer Organization, but I’ve heard from a few too many people that it really stands for “All Your Saturdays Occupied.”

I guess that just comes with the territory of parenthood. . . we have traded in weekend adventures for Saturdays at the soccer field followed by trips to Costco and Home Depot in our minivan.  That’s okay.  It’s a new family adventure.  My husband is assistant coaching, I’m team photographer, and little brother is there to cheer on big bro and his teammates.  It’s a new kind of adventure;-)

Without further adieu, here are some highlights from Game 1:

So, maybe little Bro didn’t do too much cheering, but at least he kept himself busy!

And by the second half of the game, in the intense heat, Little Bro wasn’t the only one getting a little distracted. . .

Even with the heat, the boys played great and had a good time.  Even if all my Saturdays are occupied for the next few months, if this is how they are going to look, I’m okay with that!

Now, head over to Albuquerque Family Photographer Laura Meeks’ page to see her 10 for this month!
