When I arrive at your home I'll spend 10-15 minutes scoping out the best spots for photos, raising blinds and curtains, possibly even rearranging some furniture. I'll spend a little time getting to know your kids and getting everyone in a relaxed, upbeat mood.

Once the camera comes out, I'll be sure to capture a range of images--some nice, smiley posed moments, and also the not-so-posed, the candid, natural, and heartfelt images. Family photo shoots will include pictures of the entire family together, as well as individual photos of each child. For many of us, our pets are part of the family, too, and I'm happy to include them in the photo shoot.

We'll keep everything casual and relaxed, giving kids the breaks they need to stay happy and cooperative. And there will be plenty of time for an outfit change, which we'll discuss during the pre-session consultation.

Sessions will last anywhere from 1-3 hours, depending on where we are and how many people are included.
